Farm Experiences

The whole family can be involved in the fun!

We are so lucky to call this beautiful farm our home & we want to share that with you!

We have hairy coos, fluffy alpacas & cheeky pygmy goats, all waiting to meet you & get treats - of course!

Below is all the information you need to pick what experience is best for your family. We have something for all ages!

If there is no bookings showing on your date selected, it is likely the farm is closed but please don't hesitate to get in touch to check!

The Friendly Herd Awaits!

Alpaca trekking is a truly unique and unforgettable experience for the whole family. There is something for everyone and memories that last a lifetime but don’t just take our word for it, book today and come and see for yourself!

Under 3's are free to join & don't need a place booked.

Ages 3 - 9 should all be booked in as "Mini Trekkers" & must have a paying adult trekker to go along with them. Anyone not wanting to walk an Alpaca but still would like to come along for a trek is £10 and must be paid for on the day.

What To Expect On A Trek:

  • Welcomed with a short talk about all things Alpaca, choose your walking buddy & help prepare them for the adventure.

  • Head out across the farm & take in the beautiful scenery of Strathglass & Glen Affric.

  • Take pictures & take in the peaceful surroundings of Invercannich Farm.

  • You'll learn interesting facts & have opportunities to ask your guide any questions!

  • Return to the paddock and take any last minute selfies with your trekking partner before they hit the hay.

Please note - Alpaca Trekking is advertised as a duration and not a distance. We respect our Alpacas & sometimes we have to be patient with them! The grass is always greener on the other side of the paddock!

Meet & Feed The Farm Animals

At Invercannich Farm we have more than just Alpacas! Our experiences are all farmer led, meaning you have the opportunity to hand feed Highland Cows, Alpacas & Pygmy Goats.

Enjoy watching the Goats jump around on their play gym or catch the Highland Cows having a scratch on the fence posts.

You can see Highlanders almost anywhere in Scotland but it's a unique experience to  feed them and scratch their fluffy heads!

Our 45 minute Farm Animal Meet & Feed Experience all takes place in 1 area so perfect for little legs & our Pygmy Goats are the perfect size for getting selfies with your kids!

Under 3's are free to join on to any group booking.

All participants must book a space for the experience and all children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
